Throwback Thursday: June 2013
A year ago I was featured in CrafterNews as their "Knitter of the Month". It was such a lovely honor and I'm still in awe that it happened. And that I knit a shawl with eleven different colors of yarn!
It was still a fairly fresh experience when, four months later, I was able to meet the designer of the "Tamara wrap" Melissa Leapman. She was teaching a class at the TKGA/CGA Knit and Crochet Show in Charlotte. I was sitting about 4 tables back, wearing the wrap and about halfway through the class she stopped and looked at a question at me and I said, "Yes, this is your design."
